so far this is how my talents look at 75 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=I0bZbxIzsgMq0sgdZE00VM

With demonic tactics at 5 with not a whole lot of crit gear I am around 25% crit, which makes Ruin a bit more effective and makes your SB a bit more effective in instances.  Last instance I was in, I beat out a non healing Shammy in DPS, and only the Pally tank did more damage.

With Fel Synergy my fel guard is being healed constantly, so that along with an occaisional health funnel, I have taken on 5 mobs at my level at one time without taking any noticeable damage.  With the FG charge ability you can tap mobs fairly quickly.  I have beat many a mage to the punch with the felguard.

Once we start raiding again I'll probably switch to affliction or destruction depending on what my crit looks like...

I switched from deep affliction to Felguard/Siphon Life spec after hearing some results from fellow locks.

With this build, not only can I take on 5 mobs at once, but I can also take on the elite quest mobs. Caveat being that I have my priest with me, but many other people have managed them solo. I was able to take down the 5-man dragon elite in Dragonblight with just the two characters. I have yet to see an instance since I respecced, so I don't know what sort of dps it throws out in that environment, but I have heard that it does alright.

Once I'm done with levelling/solo questing, I'll probably switch back to deep affliction.

I went deep affliction to try Haunt and some of the other talents.  Dotting everything with SL on keeps me up most of the time, add Howl if getting too low and use the heal laser beam.  Haunt is good for its dmg bonus but not much for its own dmg or heal.  I miss my SB crits with ruin but I can dot up multi mobs no probs.  My only slow down is looting or I would just keep moving forward (or running out of mob pat range) - if I could train my pet to auto loot......

Feldemon would be nice to solo the group elites but I have managed to find someone nearby to team up with for the mos part.

Raiding will be different and will need some sample time re talenting.

Lol - I just got that cone of shadow spell......unsure how to use it / work it into routine....maybe figure it out in a couple o days....
