UI help
«

Just got a new 22 inch monitor & my current UI looks pretty ordinary with it. I'm looking for something that will let me make the most of the screen real estate but also gets rid of a large part of the standard UI. I'd also like to change the look of the minimap & the character & target frames.
I'd also like it to be fairly easy to do the same thing for most classes. Don't really have the time to spend hours sorting it out for multiple characters.
Any suggestions or reccomendations would be much appreciated.

I use the CT mods. Lets you move most things around and I am pretty sure it supports load/save profile type things.
The other benifit is that the CT mods are updated very quickly after new patches.

Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is the probable reason why so few engage in it.

pitbull (unit frames)
dominos (action bars)
both are extremely configurable (enough to give you headaches) but well worth the time invested.
simpleminimap (allows for a square minimap which can look better into some uis)
prat (chat windows)
fubar (header/footer type bars, can autohide)
most of these are also profile based so you can share the same layout across all characters if you have them use the same profile.
and there are alternatives to all the above so if youve used something else before that youre comfortable with then go with that instead.
