In my wisdom Cheesy I decided to upgrade my CPU, motherboard & RAM. What's wise about that you say? Well, you see, I decided to do it without formatting my hard drive & reinstalling Windows as well as this game that I play that would require installing an initial version plus 3 upgrades & countless updates in between  Cheesy.

Anyway, end result is that Windows won't boot up & I may have to re-install everything anyway. It will depend on how long I smash my head against a wall before biting the bullet & re-installing everything. Hopefully, that will mean I'm back online on Monday at the latest  Huh

Ugh!!!!

I am sure it will all work for the best (eventually) (shiny new frame rates....I hate you already!)

I think there is some easy way you can copy current wow from hard drive with all settings and such.  Maybe a friendly guilder can assist.....

Cheers

Thanks Drool, I've already fixed the problems. You can just move the entire World of Warcraft folder to an external drive, & then move it back once you've done what you need to. Unfortunately I didn't find that out until after I'd already stuffed the computer up, but I got it all sorted in the end.
