Yes, mr Whiney Face is back for another round, As you may have all noticed none of my Toons are in the guild anymore, and while I do not want to leave on a malicious note, I do feel that this needs to be said, I enjoyed my time in roos, however that is the past, I have nothing personally against anyone except one incident finally convinced me that I didn't belong here anymore.

To show you all what this was, i found this in the FAQ section of the guild:

I hear you're a Casual Raiding guild. What does that mean?

It means that we understand that people have real lives and cannot play WOW 24/7. You will not be penalised or thrown out of the guild for non− attendance or not logging on. (Less than 1 month anyway)
At the same time the membership is also interested in the end game content and conducts regular raids.
To this end, many of the guild activities are geared towards organising and gathering the resources for the end game instances.
One of our major policies is that you will never be made to attend something you don't want to, re− spec your character a certain way or be forced to change classes. It's your character, play it how you would like to. (In Raid situations you may be asked to fill a role that is not your main spec but you will not be asked to change spec)
Another thing to note is that the majority of guild members are over 18. Some even over 30. (Yes they do swap tips on what works best to polish their walking frames)

While noone outright told me, I did not appreciate being coerced and guilt-tripped (or attempts to anyway) to switch to MM from BM. Something that when I joined (and read the guild FAQ) I thought wouldn't happen, seems I was wrong. Yes I know in one trial (others later on even showed a 1-2k in favour of BM over MM) that MM had 500 DPS more and in a raid that can translate to a bit, however last thing I checked getting anal retentive about stuff like that is what Hard-Core guilds do,

I wish I could remain but I can't without having further arguments with guild leadership so for everybody's sake,

This is Miklos and associated alts, signing off for the last time.
Good luck in current and future content.

well as I said in a previous thread response to you. We will not force you to do anything but you need to understand the consequences of your decisions.

We have a number of players in the guild who do not raid or only raid occasionally. WoW provides plenty of entertaining content other than raiding. If you don't wish to raid there is still a spot for you in the Roos.

You will not be "forced" to change your spec however raid spots will be chosen on player performance. If a player is doing, as an example, 8K DPS and another player of same class is doin 12K then the player with the higher DPS will have preference. If you can do higher DPS than another hunter or ranged DPS then you will have preference. This process applies to all and you would have noticed that many officers missed out on early raids as they had not had the time to gear up to an extent others had.

Specifically to your post:
G chat is a great place to ask questions and advice. You asked in G chat if getting an extra 500 raw DPS was a good thing. (This translates exponentially when in raid with associated buffs.) If you ask for advice and don't like the answer from you fellow guilders I can hardly say that is being "coered" or "guilt tripped".

You also quoted some information about raiding and not being forceg to respec  Any conversations you would have had with officers would have been specific to what would be required for raids. You would NEVER have been told that if you don't spec a specific way you would be guild kicked. But I would also direct you to read point 5 in that same FAQ that you refer to. Raiding is voluntary. If you dont want to raid then spec as you wish. If you do then it its the responsibility of raiders to know their class and play them to the best of their ability. if you feel that you are playing to the best of you ability then their is no need for this post

Thats not my issue, In BM i was doing more than the required DPS, all three hunter specs are raid viable as long as the person behind it has a brain, I did not appreciate being told i was letting the guild down for not 'flocking with hte rest of the sheep' to the most OP spec because it's OP, I choose to make BM work, and I can, Just because Ahala had a MM hunter beat him in DPS downt mean he can then force all of us to go MM even though we're all pulling our weight or more in our current specs.

I took it into gchat in hopes that soeon would say that I didnt have to respec like I felt i was being coerced into but everyone except Uthoir essentially stood on Ahala's side of the fence and I felt ganged up against.

:edited as the previous response was far too long, and some bits I didnt like.

Miklos, the truth of the whole matter, is that you did not raid, your reasons, whenever i asked atleast, was that you were not good enough. I enjoyed raiding with you in wotlk, however since cata you have seemed to just whine about how unfair anythign and everything is.
As i said, i enjoyed raiding with you, and would have relished the opportunity to do it again, and so because by "your" own standards you werent good enough (atleast that what you told me every time i asked), i decided to talk to you about what you could do to become a "better" player.
However you seemed to take offence to the things that i said. even though i was only trying to help you out, I never once said that you were letting the guild down, or that you were unfit for raiding, you were the one who said those things about yourself. I tried to ammend and help you through this.
I mistook your complaining for a desire to achieve more ingame, that was my mistake so im sorry for that.
we only actually talked about you specifically for a mins or two, after that the topic changed to in raiding situations who would I pick, i gave you my responses and i hold to them. I answered truthfully, it is your own concern how you took them, sadly you seem to have taken them as some sort of personal critique.

either way, sad to see you go, so GL out there in real life Mik
