Hello all, it's me again.

Well you may be wondering what is it i've done this time, well Ony me new PC with an ATI Radeon 4870... which doesn't support openGL... I ran a game that was 6 years old and based on, yes you guessed it OpenGL... now I didn't know this... and it's run fine on that machine before HOWEVER... this time it seems to have fried my (for me) very expensive Video Card and my Desktop/Gaming PC is not showing the display on the monitor...

So untill this can be fixed i'm back on my laptop... joy.

Anyway Uni also starts today so my week of nothing but WoW has come to and end, i'll try and get on but surrounding circumstances say otherwise at the moment.

If any of you have heard of/experienced this before, please say if it can or cannot be fixed without replacing parts... if you can.

That's terrible. Whether or not the card supports OpenGL, it shouldn't fry it.

Some things to try/tell us:

- Does the machine appear to load up ok otherwise or do you hear a series of beeps when you turn it on?
- Does the monitor not show anything at all from boot up, or do you see the pre-Windows loading stuff?
- Have you tried unplugging your monitor from your PC and power and holding down the power button on the monitor before plugging it all back in and turning your PC on? This founds odd, but it has worked multiple times when my secondary monitor has stopped displaying before.
