Hey guys. Thaz will be on and off a little less for a wee while. I've been hammering wow pretty hard these last few months (check guild activity!!) and my attention span is waning. I've got another game I'm having a bit of a fiddle with at the mo and while I'm still popping on to wow regularly it's not for the durations that it has been in the past.
I do get burnout every now and then and need a break. I do get over it, so I'll be full on again soon enough. For now I'll see you in shorter bursts for a wee while.

I'll definitely be on extended leave now. My new baby was born this morning.
For those who enjoy the particulars, she (yep, little girl) was delivered naturally at 1:39 this morning and weighs in at 4kg, or 8 lb 14 oz if you prefer. Mum and bub both healthy and well.

Hey Roos. Just thought I would stick my head back in and let you all know that I wont be back on WoW in the foreseeable future.
Juggling the two year old, the 5 week old, the partner, work, and home responsibilities, has turned out to be fairly time consuming (well duh!). WoW is one of those games that really requires a considerable amount of time, often in large chunks too, and I'm lucky if I get 2-3 hours on a night at the moment, and that is never in a nice uninterrupted session!
So Thaz is hanging up his flaming horse-shoes. His camel harness. Swapping the sandles he got with his Rama rep for some cozy slippers. Taking his few thousand gold and buying a nice little cottage in the western plaguelands. He might be back, from time to time, but it wont be in earnest for quite a while.
Luckily for me, I don't have to go completely MMO-less. WoW has always been a filler MMO for me. It's polished and enjoyable, but my heart is firmly located in the hardcore-gearloss, skill based (as opposed to xp and levels), sandbox MMOs. I've managed to find one that is very casual friendly, so it's holding the cravings at bay.
Other than that, I would just like to say that my short time with the Roos has been the best time I have had in WoW. You're a bunch of top people. It's been a real pleasure to have been counted as one of you. And if WoW becomes a part of my life again, I'll be bugging you for a re-invite!!
