Dah has got the ball rolling with some application criteria and forms. In the next couple of posts I have put some things that need to be expanded, decided on or refined. I have listed issues as I see them and possible solutions.

First point is that this whole thing needs to be manged by the whole of the officers. If you look through the forums there has been similar solutions proposed by members and officers but not followed through as it was left to Gobb to do. If this is to work we need all officers doing jobs and will probably expand to assistants and backups to ensure continuity. Gobb's job is to manage the guild. It is our job as officers to run it. The CEO of a company is responsible for the accounts but they aren't the ones pulling out the calculator and filling in the ledger.

From the following posts the jobs that need to be done are:
- Application vetting, interviewing, and accept/reject
- Attendance monitoring. Gear and consumables checks
- Progress raider performance monitoring
- Progress raider feedback and issue management
- Senior Raider and Raider (not progress rank) performance monitoring and feedback
- Raid leadership (progress and gearing runs) (should not be doing tank and/or healers leading as well)
- Tank leadership
- Healer leadership
- Class leadership
- Loot / SK management
- guild bank management

I suggest that once we determine the nature of Jobs to do we start getting more guilders involved in doing them this may mean promoting more officers or designating "raid assists". Much of my philosophy is based on the great spiritual leader - The Little Red Hen. See below.

Even though this is the first post its the last one im replying to.

Short answer to this long post is there is more management needed, i have had a few offers of people willing to help. Weather they do this from their existing rank or get promoted this is a moot point compared to the rest of the discussion.

it was left to Gobb to do.
I disagree with the fact that it was left for gobble to deal with, but yes we either need to promote more people or get existing officers to step up.

Gobb's job is to manage the guild.
In the discussions i have had with gobbledoc about this i have clearly stated i am more than happy to manage it.

alot of people have offered to help and i appreciate that and will take some of them up on that  alos though their are alot of instances where its gets started then people wain off - the point of the post by pre was for all of us officers to THINK about what we nneed and come up with solutions, mods more people  to do what , people who want to step up or down etc.

So I look forwards to more responces

Pally Tanking

I would like to more actively contribute to the guild.  There has been a long period of slackness on my part as I have not enjoyed playing my priest in a very long time so have not really been priest leading and I feel bad about that.  I have currently been leveling alts due to the raid times not really suiting my current situation.  I do intend to begin raiding again as soon as this stupid day light saving is over.  If there is anything I can help with please let me know.  I think that I could possibly help out guiding tanks (maybe, not sure how my tanking is any more), or something else.  I currently will not qualify for the progression team because the raid calendar is based on day light saving so I cannot be on for the start.  I do regularly make myself available if needed to sub in though once I am online.

Hey Folks

I have a migrain kicking in and cant see properly at the monment if my spelling goes off.

Time is my issue - kids getting older and having more homework and staying up later - squeezes my wow time.  (DST is also adds a tad to this.)

I am happy to help where I can.  I think I have a pretty good handle on the lock team capabilities.  I am not super skilled up in other classes so have limited use in that respect.

Let me know how I can assist this.  May be a little lag at times though depending on commitments.

The idea of getting some of the keener guilders involved is good, just needs monitoring / administration.

Cheers
