Hi Guys,

I was thinking about this last night, how does each of these rank differ from each other?

My vague understanding is this (correct me if I am wrong):

Partying *unlimited*
Targeted Raids: Fill in on Raids on Farm mode only.
Commitment Level: Casual
Skill Level: Undetermined / Beginner

Raider *unlimited*
Targeted Raids: Raid on Farm mode only
Commitment Level: Casual
Skill Level: Average

Senior Raider *unlimited*
Targeted Raids: Raid on Farm mode and is suitable to participate in progression raids if required.
Commitment Level: Casual
Skill Level: Experienced and skilled.

Progression Raider *limited positions*
Targeted Raids: Raid on Farm mode and progression raids spots will be prioritized to them.
Commitment Level: Committed/Raid regularly. Proven to be dedicated
Skill Level: Very Experienced and skilled.

I assume progression raider rank will be reviewed regularly to ensure that positions can be released for other senior raiders in the guild who may be more committed? I think this will be important as progression raider spot are limited and will allow the chance for other guildies to progress too.

Is this the right assumptions?

Difference between Progression Raid / Farm Raid
I assume that the differences in raid is not restricted to where we are going, but rather just the expectations.
e.g. ICC10 man -  There will be one/two progression team, and a farm team. The farm team may complete the Lower Spire, while the progression team is expected to perform well and reach beyond this. This means that anyone who are Raider/Senior Raider runs can still go on icc runs, except the expectation would be different.

If this is the case, then who runs the raids for the farm raids? Senior raiders? Officers? Discuss!

looks like u have the ranks correct Smiley thank u for your clear  summary im sure alot of guilders will benifit from it - I do tend to waffle when I write them in the codes Smiley

and yes in relation to the gearing and farm runs - To be in the rank of Senior raider I expect that a player has the ability to lead either their section, or the raid, into the instance ( its one of the criteria we have looked at when promoting ppl   do they know the fights and are they willing to help lead if necessary) at this stage I would envision that Senior raiders and Officers will lead these raids - their is always room for promotions if need be - at no stage would I knowingly form a raid that had no leadership capability in it - accidents happen but its definately something that is always considered when forming 10 mans

Thanks for asking so I can place an answer for all to see
Cheers Gobble
